พอดีว่าไปเจอกระทู้ถามเพลงกระทู้หนึ่ง เกี่ยวกับเพลงประกอบตัวอย่างภาพยนตร์เรื่อง My Sister’s Keeper เพลงนั้นชื่อ Life is Beautiful
มีเพลงที่ความหมายดีอยู่้หลายเพลง แต่ไม่้ใช่ทุกเพลงที่ฟังกี่ทีก็ไม่เบื่อ ฟังได้ทั้งวันทั้งคืน ฟังจนหลับเลยก็มี Life is Beautiful เป็นหนึ่งในนั้น
เจ้าของเพลงเป็นวงดนตรีจากอังกฤษ Vega 4 ซึ่ง ณ เวลานี้ก็เกือบ 10 ปีแล้วที่รวมตัวกันครั้งแรก มีผลงานแล้ว 2 อัลบั้ม คือ Satellites (2001) และ You and Others (2006) สำหรับ Life is Beautiful อยู่ในอัลบั้ม You and Others เป็นซิ้งเกิ้ลที่ 3 ของอัลบั้ม
Life is Beautiful ไม่ได้แค่ปรากฏในตัวอย่างภาพยนตร์เรื่อง My Sister’s Keeper เ่ท่านั้น เพลงยังปรากฏในซีรี่ย์อเมริกา 2 เรื่องคือ Grey’s Anatomy และ One Tree Hill อีกด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นไปปรากฏในเรื่อง Sex Drive และภาพยนตร์โฆษณาของซีรี่ย์เรื่อง Defying Gravity ด้วย
เพิ่งได้โอกาสมาติดตาม American Idol จริงๆจังๆก็ซีซั่น 9 นี่ละ เห็นเลยว่ามีหลายคนที่น่าสนใจ แต่ใครจะไปรู้ละ ว่าทีมงานตัดต่อดันเลือกผิดคน
อาจจะงงว่าคืออะไร ที่จะบอกก็คือ ตั้งแต่ช่วงออดิชั่นจนถึงรอบ Top 36 มีหน้าของผู้ชนะ Kris Allen โผล่มาแว๊บเดียว จึงทำให้ Kris ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นม้ามือของซีซั่นนี้เลยทีเดียว
Kris เคยมีอัลบั้มเป็นของตัวเองแล้วช่วงก่อนเข้าประกวด AI ซึ่งเป็นอัลบั้มที่ แต่งเอง อัดเอง ไรท์เอง แจกเอง ราวๆ 600 แผ่น (ซึ่งหลังจากชนะ AI แล้ว แผ่นก็ถูกลงไปจำหน่ายใน iTunes และ Amazon อยู่พักนึง) ชื่อ Brand New Shoes ซึ่งหลายคนคงไม่รู้ว่ามีเพลงหนึ่งในนั้นชื่อว่า Land of Smiles เป็นเพลงที่ Kris แต่งเมื่อตอนมาเมืองไทยช่วงปี 2007 (?)
หลังจากได้ชื่อว่้า่เป็น AI คนใหม่แล้ว ก็ต้องมีเพลงแรกที่ผู้ชนะและที่สองของแต่ละปีจะได้ร้องชื่อเพลง No Boundaries หลายๆคนคงเคยได้ยินมาแล้ว เพลงนี้กรรมการคนใหม่ของซีซั่นนี้ Kara DioGuardi (อ่านว่า “แครา” ไม่ใช่ “คารา”) ร่วมแต่งด้วย
ผ่านมาได้ 4 เดือน ก็ถึงเวลาแล้วละสำหรับ Single Debut เพลงแรกของอัลบั้มแรก (ที่ยังไม่มีชื่อ) ชื่อเพลง Live Like We’re Dying พระเอกของเรา..
Live Like We’re Dying เป็นเพลง Cover (งงเหมือนกันที่ให้เพลงแรกเป็นเพลง Cover ทั้งๆที่ Kris เองก็มีความสามารถในการแต่งเพลงเอง และยังมีเพลงจากอัลบั้มเก่าอยู่เยอะแยะ ดันไม่เอามา – -’) จาก The Script (ขอดันวงนี้ด้วยแล้วกัน) ซึ่งเป็นการ Cover ทีเ่รียกได้ว่า Cover แต๊ๆ จนแยกไม่ออก เพราะไม่มีการทำเพลงใหม่เลยแม้แต่น้อย พูดง่ายๆก็คือ ร้องคาราโอเกะนั่นเอง
แต่ถึงยังไง ก็ติดหูดีสำหรับผม ถึงแม้จะชอบเวอร์ชั่นของ The Script มากกว่านิดหน่อย (เหมือนกันขนาดนั้น ยังแยกออกอีกนะคนเรา)

ถึงแม้เพลงนี้จะมาแนวเดียวกับ Because of You ของ Kelly ขนาดไหนก็ตาม (จะว่าไปชื่อเพลงก็คล้ายกันซะด้วยซิ) แต่ผมคิดว่า Because of You ดูมีรัศมีกว่าเยอะ แต่ก็ไม่ใช่ว่าเพลงนี้จะไม่ดีนะครับ กีต้าร์ที่ค่อนข้างหนักและเสียงแหบๆของ Katy เข้ากันได้ดีมาก ลองคิดถึงเพลงนี้ที่ร้องด้วยเสียงแหลมๆของบริทนี่ย์แบบ Circus คงไม่เข้าเท่าไหร่ (แต่ผมชอบ Circus นะ อิอิ)

สำหรับวง The All-American Rejects ผมไม่เคยได้ยินชื่อมาก่อน จนกระทั่งต้นเดือนที่แล้ว (กุมภาพันธ์) ได้ดูลิสต์ Billboard Top 100 ซึ่ง Gives You Hell อยู่ที่อันดับ 6 ก็เลยลองหามาฟัง แล้วปรากฏว่าติดหูดีครับ เลยอยากให้คนที่ไม่เคยฟังมาลองฟังดูครับ (เคยฟังแล้ว ฟังอีกก็ได้ไม่ว่านะครับ)
